FAFCE demands an additional remark in the draft of the Treaty of the European Union:
In the Objectives of the EU should be added the “support of family life”. In the petition which was sent to all the Heads of States and Government, and also to all the family ministers in the EU the FAFCE underlines the fact that family life is one of the first values of European Citizens.

Green Paper “Modernising labour law to meet the challenges of the21st Century”
FAFCE assumes that the art term “Flexicurity”, drawn from flexibility and sedurity, further enhances flexibility demands in the domain of employment law and at the same time weakens the principle of social security. FAFCE-Petition concerning the Patent of Human Life
FAFCE sent a petition to the European Patent Office, in which President Bussmann requests the Enlarged Board of Appeal to deny a patent on human embryos and human steam cells.

Bußmann: High Standard for Protection of Minors in the field of Mass Media in Europa has to be guaranteed
On the occasion of the voting on the revision of the EU-Directive com(2005)0646 "Television with frontiers", the new FAFCE-President, Elisabeth Bussmann demands the EU Pariamentarians to take care, that protection of minors in the field of mass media in Europe may not be harmonised at the lowest lewel.
